WInter wonderland

With Jeff home from college now for a couple weeks ,we took the opportunity to go out birding amidst all our Christmas errands. I have noticed since the lunar eclipse I have not had many birds. The day of the eclipse I was swamped with birds. Very interesting indeed. We did see a few rough legged hawks and a couple red tails,an adult bald eagle and a lot of frosty trees. It was a beautiful morning indeed. And I was thrilled to see my first coyote of the year. Almost missed it!!! It was WAY out in the field and was a healthy specimen. I was very happy to get the shots I got of it. What a beautiful animal.
