l have been a part of a few successful wildlife rescues and educate people on wildlife and environmental issues. We have helped in issues to save wetlands, woodlands etc.to save the precious life within. It is well worth the effort. We can all learn to live and work together. Education is the key. In 2011 I won an education award from Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority for the work and photography I do. Habitat is fast disappearing and with it, many species are also declining in numbers. So many species can actually tell us the health of our environment and alert us to problems we need to know about. They all need to be protected.

Scenery

This horse was interested in my presence,as you know I love photographing horses. What magnificent animals. And a few old houses and barns I have seen on my adventures. They always make interesting shots.

Red Squirrel

This little guy was hungry and finding it's way to the feeders. Very cute. These people had lots of feeders out and no one went without.

Scenery

Still winter as you can see. I am behind on my postings. But these are a few of the Minesing wetland area. A very wonderful area to take photos in.

Deer in field

Deer are everywhere right now. So we have to be aware and alert for them. What beautiful animals.

Chickadee & Downy

Two very busy birds getting food.

Bull

Who couldn't love this face. Isn't he a beaut!!! He watched me the whole time I stood by my truck on the side of the road, and then watched me drive away. All the way up the road those beautiful eyes followed me. Probably wandered who the crazy lady was with that big black thing.

Backyard friends

We have a lot of squirrels that come and visit us here. Just a couple of the many. We have lost some as well to old age and a beautiful fox that uesed to pass through. She has since died. The crows would always let us know she was coming. Kinda miss those days. And of coarse one of our morning doves sitting in the sun with the breeze going through her feathers. Pretty birds.

Farm animals

A local farm sets the scene for the next series of shots. Seems like the alpacka was protecting the little donkey here. And what a beautiful little donkey. He moved in front of him and stood on guard. Next lot of picture's shows a little smooch. These animals really get bonded. It is wonderful to see. I love driving past this farm. They have some incredible animals in there. And deer around them. Love this time of year.

Look at those faces. Adorable.

Farm animals

Not far away we have a famr with some very cool animals. Here are some photos of them. Aren't they precious.

Raccoon up a tree.

Couple days ago my dog let me know about this guy. A little big for this tree. Took Max inside and let this one get down and move on. Very healthy guy for sure. It is always a challenge for us in the spring with Max. Have to be so careful and check the yard before he goes out. But I don't often look up in the trees. This tree was so small for this raccoon that I thought I had better let him continue on. He even gave me a wave. Thanks lady!!!

The wave. Cute!!
