While hawk watching we saw some great butterflies. Common buckeye is one and the tortushell one of the others. Then we did a double take when we saw some elk in a field. Had to pull a u'y and go back as did another car behind us a bit. Not often you see elk in a field here. A great view off the cliff of the point were we actually were staying on Port Stanley. What a view. And we had a lovely young buck run across the field as well were the hawks were passing through. A very busy place indeed.
