The birds here was amazing. So many types, alligators in the wild and the airboat ride was amazing. Here we have an adult alligator, wood stork with a purple gallinule flying in behind the wood stork. Alligators and turtles were not uncomon to see together on the shores of the waters edge. I guess the alligators are well fed. I did an air brush technique on the first alligator.

Miami
Another night shot from the rest. we ate at. The boats and yaghts came in to have a bite to eat. Very popular place with great service and food. We had some parrots in Miami that flew around the motel all day long. Very hard to catch but a couple landed for me at one point giving me an opportunity to get a couple okay shots. Very busy birds and the crows did not like them at all. Chasing them away almost immediately. Beautiful parrots. And we had about 35-40 of them in the flock. I still have to ID them.
Parrots of Jamaica
Here are shots of some parrots in the Jamaican avary we went to visit. The one wanted his picture taken don't you think!! Absolutely beautiful.

Our first drinks at Miami Snuckers Rest. at Best Western By The Bay were we stayed on the water before the cruise out the next day. Oh so good. Miami at night, a good flock of black skimmers in Key West and one of the other cruise ships with a pirate ship out in front anchored in Jamaica. There were 2 of these. Very neat to see.

Coming in for a landing
Our day at La Salle was wonderful. The following are some photos that my son Jeff & I took while we were there. Jeff taking photos of the ducks and swans coming in for a landing. They need a runway for there large size. Is quite something to watch. And they sure clear the way with their trumpeting as they approach.
Sleeping beauties
These swans are having a nap,so at peace. While #548 named Crabby from his younger days, sits and digests his meal from my feeding. What a beautiful old swan. The oldest of the group they think, around 20. Amazing. And he is "amazing". He sure isn't crabby anymore but the most trusting and gentle creature. As I stood there with the corn he actually asked me to feed him in his way with his gestures. When I did he was so gentile and thankful. Then he sat down beside me. Then Bev told me all about him.
