Winter scenes.

 A trip around Minesing and Tiny Marsh area brought some wonderful opportunities for some nice winter shots.
Last week's winter thaw brought the water levels way up in some areas.

Behind this tree were 100's of snow bunting way back in the field.

Winter's Magic 2/09

  These caught my eye while on a walk,made for a cool shot!
Walked by a creek in Innisfil,the sound of the water was so amazing. Spring will soon be here.

 Beautiful little chickadees were posing nicely for us as well.

Screech owl

  Again in Toronto,a beautiful little screech owl.  There are a pair here as well. And we think the other one may be in the hole,this is the male.One can not believe how difficult it was to spot this little guy. 
A good camouflage for these owls keeps them just a little safer.

2nd great horned owl

  Mate to the first. Lighting was a problem in the wooded area. But the owls were very patient. Was quite remarkable.

City Owls 2/09

  While in the Greater Toronto area we could not believe the wildlife we saw. There was a pair of Great Horned owls,this is one of them.
